Discover the New European Bauhaus initiative and its goals for industry

The New European Bauhaus is a creative initiative advancing the goals of the European Green Deal. The initiative is helping to build a more sustainable society by championing circularity and life cycle thinking.

On this three-week course from the European Institute for Innovation and Technology, you’ll explore the New European Bauhaus from the perspective of industry. From the initiative’s connections with Industry 5.0 to its implications for sustainable production, you’ll discover a transformative European movement.

Understand the need for circularity in industrial ecosystems

Transitioning to a circular economy could help us limit waste, share resources, and make industries across the board more sustainable.

You’ll delve deeper into the circular economy model, and why circularity is needed to combat the climate crisis.

Examine the role of circular design and life cycle thinking in sustainable manufacturing

Circular design and life cycle thinking both factor circularity into the traditional manufacturing cycle. In Week 3 of the course, you’ll explore the importance of these approaches for sustainability.

You’ll finish the course with a detailed knowledge of the New European Bauhaus initiative, and an understanding of why we should champion the circular economy.
