Applications from candidates with relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis. Work experience is desirable but not essential.

English as a Foreign Language: This course requires IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent. Pre-sessional English is available if required.

This course can be studied 100% online with both full-time and part-time options.

The full-time route takes one year to complete, or part-time two years.

Postgraduate UK/EU students

The tuition fee for the course that is stated on the course webpage and in the prospectus will apply. If the duration of the course is longer than one academic year, we may increase the fee for each subsequent year of study but any such increases will be no more than inflation. Following the UK’s exit from the European Union, EU students should be aware that there may be a change to UK laws following the UK’s exit; this may change their student status, their eligibility to study part time, and/or their eligibility for student finance. Postgraduate international students

On successful completion, you should be able to:

• Evaluate the impact of legal systems, international developments, corporate governance, and ethical, economic, environmental, social and technological change issues on HR management
• Make judgements about customer service and business positioning from the perspective of an HR manager and/or business partner
• Evaluate the production and marketing of goods and/or services to maximise the management of resources and efficiency of operations in a range of international business and HR contexts
• Appraise the financing of organisations by examining the sources, uses and management of finance and accounting practices for managerial and financial reporting, and their applications for the efficient management of HR costs
• Interpret data and research from organisations, organisational behaviour, industrial/employee relations, HR management, and change management
• Investigate a complex HR issue, providing information and evaluating options in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environment
